Pokepasta Wiki

While I have posted this on the front page of the Wikia (in the rules and guidelines section)...there still seems to be a slight issue with people getting on here, wanting to contribute a popular Pokepasta that they saw online, and then posting a story that we already have.

Trust me, I spent over three months re-routing things, adding images to the more popular Pokepastas on here, and labeling them by their actual names so that this would NOT happen on the site. But, as we have seen time-and-time again...people come on here, and rather than post their own material, they copy things they saw on another CreepyPasta website, and they end up duplicating something that has already been posted with a LOT more material.

I am NOt against people copying material and posting it here...I did that for a long-while because the Wikia was so empty with little-to-know members. I know I have made my fair-share of mistakes with duplicates and had to re-route at least one page of my own...but still. It happens waaaaaaaay too often...so I will say it again, and again, and again...until it does not happen as frequently.

You CAN (and are encouraged) to copy and paste Pokepastas that you find elsewhere in order to contribute to the site...BUT, you MUST check first to see if this site already has this story. Chances are with the more popular tales (like Strangled Red and Creepy Black), we already have it...and if you are confused as to whether or not it is in our database...ASK ME!!!

Ask me, and I will gladly look for you before you go and post something, and then I have to do more work -_-

The more stuff we have to go and re-route, the more unorganized this Wikia looks...and that bothers me. I know that, coming on a site, I do not want to have to click on something in order to click on another thing in order to finally get to the one page I was trying to get to in the first place.

I'm sure my point is made here...but I'm also sure I will have to say it again in the future. Just be more careful people...please?
