Pokemon Alternative Endings?

=====So...I saw on a Forum that some people wanted Pokemon versions where one version was the heroes-tale, while the other version was the rival's tale. Obviously this would be interesting, but totally counter-productive. Rather than actually going around, overcoming obstacles, becoming the champion, and catching Legendary Pokemon---as the rival, you would go around, get your ass kicked by the hero, and then never have any glory to yourself really. It would not be as fun. This is just my opinion however. What is yours?=====
